International Flights

During the high season, there are charter flights from many cities directly to Goa's Dabolim Airport. If a charter flight is not a possibilty, then take an international flight to the Indian cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Bangalore. If you're booking your tickets online, the Dabolim Airport code is GOI.

Domestic Flights

Connecting flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai or Bangalore to Goa's Dabolim Airport are available with Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines and Indian Airlines.

Flight Arrivals

Satsanga Retreat is located in the state of Goa, India. The nearest aiport is the Dabolim Airport, which is 45 kilometers from Satsanga Retreat, about one hour by taxi. We are happy to arrange a taxi to meet you at the airport, please let us know at least one day in advance. The cost is 900 Rs, which is paid directly to the driver. You can also organize a taxi upon arrival at the airport, but Satsanga Retreat is very difficult to find, and if you are not familiar with the area, it is best if we send a taxi from the village to meet you.

Train Arrivals

The nearest train station is Tivim, which is 12 kilometers from Satsanga Retreat. If you're taking the train from a major city such as Mumbai, you'll first arrive in Margao at the Madgaon Railway Station to take a connecting train to Tivim Station.

Bus Arrivals

The nearest bus Station is in Mapusa, which is 5 kilometers from Satsanga Retreat.

Getting Around the Area

Most guests travel around the area by taxi or motor scooter. Many of our neighbors in the village are taxi drivers and also have small motor scooter rental businesses, so both are easily obtainable. Depending on the beach, most are within a 15 to 25-minute drive, and the Saturday Night Bazaar, Anjuna Wednesday Market, and Mapusa Market are just 10 minutes away.
